Thanks to the Monroe Family in Gahanna for submitting their photo entry for my 4th of July photo contest! What I really loved was Mom's explanation for sending it..."ok, I know this photo does not have the flag in it...but it does symbolize true freedom to me through a child's eyes. I loved it so much I had to send it on!" And that's what freedom's all about, folks...sailing on a boat on a lake somewhere in this great country of ours, with the wind blowing through your hair and the sun shining down, without a care in the world! It just doesn't get anymore freeing or patriotic than that!
