Once a photographer, always a dreamer

I can't get enough of Inniswood Metro Gardens, especially in the fall. My photo session this past weekend was there and my remaining October sessions will be there, as well. It's just magical when the sunshine filters through the leaves of the trees or cool shadows are cast over natural backdrops.

Long after my business goes dark, I'm sure you'll still find me there as it's turned into kind of a home away from home. Hmmm, maybe I'll start doing some fine art photography...once a photographer, always a dreamer.

Judging a book by its cover

This is one of those instances when you really can judge a book by its cover...

I have just wrapped up some assignment photography for a book author, Gail E. Dudley, who will soon be publishing her latest writings on a life lived in prayer. In the meantime, here is a sneak peek of the cover that I shot from the inside of my Honda Element on a rainy evening. Gail's vision for the cover came to her as she sat in her own car one rainy afternoon, looking out the windshield with God whispering in her ear, "This is it. This is my vision for your life." Pretty cool stuff, huh?

Please let me know how many copies of the book you'd like to order and I'm sure Gail would be tickled pink to sign them for you.
